Update on bee

As you can see the hole is sealed up, I can only assume ‘she’ was laying eggs this morning.

My house wall seems to be attracting a lot of interest , a yellow lady bird & a rather pretty unknown insect. Does any one know what this is?

We live on the Thames estuary near a large nature reserve. We have lots of salt water marshland birds, especially herons. Our village is home to rare bees living with in the marshland in small hill like structures. We planted our garden up for bees & butterfly’s , people have been encouraged to do this. I also have some bumble bees living between the old bricks & stones in the back garden. Luna likes to chase them as they are furry.
Thank you for dropping by & leaving your wonderful comments. I like reading your blog too, as I teach Indian girls.
