My first make of the year 😃. I thought I would use up some of my crochet cotton stash, I thought it would take up less space as a doily, & make possible presents later on in the year. I’m using Doilies in Colour from Annie’s crochet, a book I had purchased a few years ago, but never got around to making any.
Finally finished, it was made from some block found during the grand summer tidy up & sort out.
I recently finished a crochet shawl , this is the first in this years shawl club by the knackered psycho & yarn by unbelievawool.
It makes a lovely large shawl from 100g ball of sock yarn. I have already gifted the shawl to a friend, who loves it.
Over the weekend I finished sewing the ends in. It’s finally sunny today😀, so I could take a picture.
Some ‘yarny ‘ pegs (to add to the collection ) showing the colours used they are all style craft double knit ( attic 24 cupcake pack)
Part 1 is finally finished, now on to part 2.
Now Kay’s birthday has been celebrated I can finally share her shawl. It’s an asymmetrical shape made in skeleton Jack yarn, for our own ‘Goth girl’
At least with the bright edge we stand a chance of spotting her in the dark!! I’m glad to say she liked it.
A Harry Potter shawl for our Harry Potter mad friend, Becky. I didn’t catch up with Becky until this week she’s been away at university (& working) she’s just finished her exams ( hope all has gone well), it’s her final year so I thought she needed something special.
I’m glad to say she really loved it.
Yes,another Thank you shawl by the knackered psycho , I love the size of shawl from one ball of sock yarn.
I’ve finished the main body of the blanket, it’s turned into quite a monster! It’s difficult to lay flat. I’m now working on the boarders, I hope to finish it soon.
My first gluten free Christmas cake. I wonder what it will be like? This will be our first gluten free Christmas.
We found my beaded Christmas tree in the loft, I finally brought a dome. I dusted it off & rehung the decorations.
My final technicians present, a silk & wool mix cowl.
Luna & I wish everyone a very Happy Christmas & New Year.
This is the second shawl I made for my technicians, using the same beaded arches shawl pattern by the knackered psycho , this times yarn was the calm after the storm from Mothy & the Squid.
Again I’m sure the yarn name resonated with them.
Neatly packaged, with another hand made cherry blossom.
