Luna is now officially my quality control officer, she’s just checking everything is in order, in particular that I have sewn the label on correctly. She does like to help with product photography, she’s not so keep with helping write product descriptions.
I really loved the look of the solar flare quilt, shown on Tula Pinks update, I showed it to Mum & she brought it for me. I haven’t paper foundation paper pieced for a while. It was lovely to get back into it.
Yellow & pink block
This is the first set I made, I soon got back into the swing of folding, cutting & pressing.
Block 2Blocks 2 & 3 together
So that’s the big square blocks done, on to the smaller ones
Block 4
These blocks are triangles, so together they make quite nice squares.
Blocks 5 &6
So with 4 of each block made, a large quantity of squares cut, 2 from each fabric & some borders cut.
It’s time to start thinking about construction. Time to grab a coffee & read though the next lot of instructions.
Just started making & sharing again after a long break from WP. I’m just starting to get back into enjoying making again.
My first tiny teddy bear, after an even longer break from making them. I have been reviving my toy / bear making skills over lockdown & decided it was time to start sharing again.
The pattern is by Zabbez, I loved making him. I’m hoping to get a few more made for Christmas. I’ve brought a second pattern, so he has a friend. Also I find it impossible to make the same thing over & over.
I used hair spray to stiffen up the pettles on his hat.
I finished the 12th Doctor in time for Stephen’s Birthday ( it’s just taken a while to photograph) I used Allison Hoffman’s pattern from Ravelry , she has a web site craftiscool.com. I kept to the pattern except I used small eyes ( you know the ones you have) & I embroidered his hair, I started to the crochet version & did not like it. He really wasn’t too difficult to make & I enjoyed making him.
